Those of you who follow me closely have been hearing a little bit about my friend JAX. Those of you who have been paying attention have figured out my little secret…

JAX is me. A different side of me. Oh, it’s still all about the wild worlds and exotic cultures, all about the romance…the paranormal and the fantastical. It’s still about the smokin’ hot sex. The thing is, I’m kind of expanding my definition of smokin’ hot sex. Aphrodisia is Kensington’s erotic romance line. It will allow me to stop walking the edge and dive right in to slightly less ‘conventional’ relationships or sexual limitations. My first book, “The Bid” isn’t really that much of a departure to start with if you ask me, but I consider it dipping my toe in the water.

Don’t be afraid. Yet. Heh. It’s just that I suppose sometimes I write too hot for mainstream! (Case in point, my short story in Nocturnal. That right there is some raunchy smokin’ hot sex.)

Try it. You’ll like it! And those of you who are more conservative…maybe not so much. You can only find out if you read it I suppose!

Either way, I hope you enjoy JAX as much as you do Jacquelyn Frank for the depth of the story, the intricacies of the characters and the complexities of the world-building. I will never lose sight of the romance in a romance. Once an author does that, it’s just porn, you know? And while porn has its place, I am trying to satisfy a completely different kind of itch.
